AIG Johar honored with DG BPR&D Commendation Disc for excellence
In a ceremony held at the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) Headquarters, AIG (Crime & Complaints) of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Jatinder Singh Johar, was honored with the prestigious DG BPR&D Commendation Disc for his exceptional contributions.
Jatinder Singh Johar, an esteemed member of the police force, was recognized for his outstanding service and dedication in various capacities. Previously serving as AIG (Training/Policy) at PHQ J&K, his remarkable efforts were pivotal in the evaluation process of premier Police Training Academies and Institutions across the country for the year 2021-22.
Appointed as a member of the Southern Zone Committee by the BPR&D under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Johar played a crucial role in evaluating the participating Training Institutions from four states – Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
The evaluation process, conducted meticulously in four phases, aimed to identify the best Training Institutions deserving of the Union Home Minister’s Trophy.
The diligent efforts of Jatinder Singh Johar in concluding the evaluation report were recognized by the BPR&D.
Alongside fellow officers from the Evaluation Committees, Jatinder Singh Johar-IPS, previously serving as the AIG (Training/Policy) at PHQ J&K and currently holding the position of AIG (Crime & Complaints) at PHQ J&K, was presented with the DG BPR&D Commendation Disc during an investiture Ceremony held at BPR&D Headquarters.
This acknowledgment highlights the exceptional contributions made by Johar and his colleagues in finalizing the award.
