Rain in parts of Rajasthan

Jaipur, Mar 2 (PTI) Parts of Rajasthan witnessed light to moderate rainfall triggered by a new western disturbance in the past 24 hours, according to the meteorological department here.

Lalsot in Dausa and Churu recorded 2 cm rainfall while Peeplu (Tonk), Jhalrapatan (Jhalawar), Niwai, Bonli (Sawaimadhopur), Phagi (Jaipur), Khandar (Sawaimadhopur), Karauli and Kekri recorded 1 cm rainfall each since Friday till Saturday morning.

The MeT has predicted rainfall in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bharatpur divisions on Saturday.

The weather bulletin further said the effect of western disturbance is likely to end by Saturday in most parts of the state and the weather is likely to remain dry for the next week.
