Nowshera Forest Division commemorates Shivratri with Rudraksh Plantation Drive
RAJOURI, MARCH 08: Nowshera Forest Division today conducted a Rudraksh plantation drive to celebrate Maha-Shivratri.
The initiative marked a significant step towards environmental conservation. The drive was conducted under the supervision of Sandeep Kumar, Conservator of Forests, West Circle Rajouri, Shweta Deonia, Divisional Forest Officer, Nowshera, and the dedicated efforts of Dr. Rakesh Verma, Range Officer, Sunderbani.
The dedicated efforts of the staff from Kangri Forest Block were instrumental in the smooth conduct of the drive. Their commitment and hard work ensured the successful planting of Rudraksh trees, contributing to the preservation of our natural heritage.
This initiative not only pays homage to the cultural significance of Shivratri but also emphasizes our collective responsibility to protect and nurture our forests for future generations.
