NC leaders meet youth, seek support for their party in forthcoming elections

Jammu:12-03-24: National Conference leaders, including Provincial Joint Secretary Ankush Abrol and Zonal Secretary and Coordinator Jammu District (Urban), Dr Vikas Sharma today held a meeting with a large number of youth and dwelt on their number of issues.

The NC leaders expressed concern over the growing unemployment, menace of drug abuse and lack of opportunities for the youth class. They came down heavily upon the LG administration for not redressing the burning issues related to youth.

Abrol said, “Youth of J&K have a lot of potential. They can do wonders if they are provided with proper opportunities. The NC government during its tenure took a number of steps for betterment of youth. And, the people of J&K are eagerly waiting for the return of the NC government to bring back the golden era.”

Dr Sharma urged the youth to whole heartedly support NC in the forthcoming Parliamentary elections and ensure victory of party candidates so that the incumbent Govt can be thrown out from the power.

He blamed the incumbent Govt at Centre for miseries of youth. “J&K is directly ruled by the Centre and in the last several years it took no concrete measures to mitigate the sufferings of J&K youth,” he said and vowed to carry forward his struggle for the cause of youth.
