Ministry of MSME’s PM iVshwakarma Awareness programs successfully held across 5 Districts

SRINAGAR, MARCH 13: In a concerted effort to promote and facilitate the growth of artisans, the Ministry of MSME, through its dedicated Br MSME Development & Facilitation Office Srinagar, orchestrated a series of impactful PM Vishwakarma Programs across five districts.

Under the guidance of Br MSME DFO Srinagar, the programs were successfully conducted in Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Srinagar districts, in collaboration with the respective District Administrations.

The events garnered substantial participation, with over 1200 enthusiastic stakeholders and beneficiaries joining.

The Assistant Director MSME, Saheel Alaqband emphasized the primary goal of these programs—to generate awareness about the PM Vishwakarma Scheme, ensuring its reach to the remotest locations, allowing artisans to avail themselves of its myriad benefits.

During the programs, comprehensive information about the scheme’s advantages was disseminated, and handholding support through Common Service Centre (CSC) centers was ensured.

Alaqband highlighted that the PM Vishwakarma Scheme provides artisans with recognition through certificates and identity cards, accompanied by training, toolkit incentive, credit support, digital and marketing support.
