Two arrested in Kupwara’s Battergam fire case, confess to arson for insurance fraud

KUPWARA March 14: Two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the Battergam fire incident, where one individual lost their life. The accused, arrested in Punjab, have confessed to setting the fire as part of an insurance fraud scheme. Case FIR No. 54/2024 has been registered at P.S Kupwara regarding this matter.
