BJP Health, Medical Cell organizes Doctors Meet under Viksit Bharat campaign
Health and Medical Cell, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir under its Convenor Puneet Mahajan organized a Doctors Meet under Viksit Bharat campaign which was attended by several senior and eminent doctors, including specialists at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union MoS, PMO was the key speaker in the programme Ashok Koul, BJP General Secretary (organization), Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, General Secretary & former Health Minister, Rakesh Mahajan, BJP All Cell Incharge and Ved Sharma, Co-Incharge All Cells addressed the programme and later felicitated the doctors for their important contribution to the society.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, while addressing the meet stressed that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union government transformed the Health Care sector of India in the last 10 years. He said that this transformation has been enormous, evolved from being ‘negligent for personal health’ to a leader in the palliative and preventive health care provider. He said that India has demonstrated its resourcefulness to the entire world in the COVID pandemic time, and also mentioned Ayushman scheme, holistic health care, Yoga, health Start-Ups etc. He also mentioned the use of Artificial Intelligence and tele-mobile clinic services initiated. He said that these all transformations have been possible only due to the decisive, progressive and visionary government led by PM Modi. He further said that BJP holds the credit of giving true democratic representation to the public by asking for the suggestion to frame its election manifesto and requested the intelligentsia forum represented by the doctors present in the programme to share their suggestions regarding the health, development, societal and other issues to be added in the manifesto.
Ashok Koul said that BJP and it’s medical cell feels proud of services of our doctors and now that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) besides many new medical colleges have come up in Jammu and Kashmir, there will be considerable improvement in healthcare services and more students will be able to pursue medicine course. He said that doctors fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir had always been providing people best healthcare services and deserve accolades. He said that under Modi government, J&K has witnessed a boom in the healthcare education and facilities.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that the BJP is working with the mission to make India as ‘Viksit Bharat’ (developed) by 2047, and want to draw a roadmap for achieving this target, for which the suggestions of the people working in different fields and at different levels is going to be of great help
Rakesh Mahajan said that professionals are playing a major in building nation and now that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the nation to become world’s third largest economy, we all need to strengthen his initiatives by ensuring that BJP comes to power with a thumping majority.
Puneet Mahajan said that this fraternity is considered in very high esteem. He added that presence of eminent and respected Jammu doctors in this first ever Sammelan establishes that they are all here to exchange ideas to make India a strong nation and deliberate union improving healthcare facilities in J&K. He said more such events will be organized in future and doctor’s advices sought on different issues to give people professional healthcare facilities.
Ved Sharma presented vote of thanks saying that with the initiative of PM Modi a new chapter of peace and prosperity is being written for the welfare of people in which doctors are going to play a major role.
