Bandipora police seize 5 vehicles in stringent crackdown on illegal mining
In a crackdown on illegal mining activities, Bandipora Police seized five vehicles laden with illicit mining materials.

The action comes as part of a continued effort to curb environmental damage and ensure adherence to regulations.
The seized vehicles, which included four cars and one motorcycle, were intercepted at various locations across the district.
Following the seizures, the Bandipora Police Department took action under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act (MMRD Act) in collaboration with the District Mineral Office (DMO) of Bandipora.
The seized vehicles and materials have been impounded, and further investigations are underway.
