Tejas Ek Pahal Foundation Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary
DODA, March 21: Tejas Ek Pahal Foundation (TPEF), a Non – Governmental Organisation (NGO) on Tuesday (19/03/2024) celebrated its fifth anniversary here at district headquarters Doda.
The programme to celebrate its five years of struggle started with lighting of lamps. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Suresh Kumar and the Guest of Honour Rahul Thakur.
The main speaker on the occasion was founder and chairman of TPEF, Akash Parihar, the general secretary of Foundation, Jugnu Aryan and the entire team of Tejas were present in the program.
While speaking on the occasion, Akash Parihar shared a detailed work report of Tegas and also talked about the NGO and its main objectives.
Parihar said that It’s believed that people connect with each other and help people by sharing their experiences through NGOs. This is a private organization to spread awareness, social unity, service delivery, training, study and research and to cooperate in giving voice to public expectations.
He said that Tejas runs activities to relieve people’s pain, protect the environment, provide basic social services or for the community.
He acknowledged some of the works done by the TEPF in the last five (5) years like, 1. Youth Development, 2. Sports Competition, 3. Awareness, 4. Plastic Campaign, 5. Women Empowerment, 6. Medical Camp, 7. Blood Donation etc.
While appealing to people, Akash assured that they will work even more than this in the society, but needs everyone’s cooperation.
Moreover, various other speakers like reputed journalists and other social workers from different sections of the society joined the programme and shared their experiences and suggestions.
