Jammu-Srinagar NH partially restored, stranded vehicles being cleared
Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW-44) has been partially restored, facilitating the clearance of stranded vehicles between Nashree and Banihal. The highway had been closed earlier due to shooting stones. While efforts are underway to clear the route, travelers are urged to adhere to lane discipline and exercise caution, particularly between Ramban and Banihal, where the possibility of shooting stones persists. Additionally, the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road remains closed due to accumulated snow
