“Khardong Village Hosts Comprehensive SWEEP Campaign and EPIC Distribution Verification Ahead of Elections”

Leh, April 2, 2024: A comprehensive SWEEP campaign and EPIC (Electoral Photo Identity Card) distribution verification was conducted at Khardong Village in preparation for the forthcoming elections in the region.

The primary aim of the SWEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) campaign and EPIC distribution verification is to ensure maximum voter turnout and to verify the accurate distribution of EPICs among eligible voters.

OQ, Diskit, Ghulam Hussain emphasized the need for collaborative efforts from all stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives of voter turnout and EPIC verification.
DEO Leh has directed for comprehensive verification of EPIC distribution and SWEEP campaign.
