Bandipora police apprehend two drug peddlers, seize 5 kgs of charas
Bandipora Police foiled an attempt at drug trafficking after arresting two suspects and seizing 5 kilograms of charas, a narcotic substance, during separate operations in Kanipora Gundboon and Markundal Chowk Sumbal.

According to police sources, acting on specific information, a police party conducted surprise checks at the designated locations. During these checks, they intercepted two individuals and upon searching them, recovered a total of 5 kilograms of charas-like contraband substance.
Police have registered cases against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at PS Sumbal. Further investigations are underway.
