Alumni of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University interacted with the Students

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is very fortunate that one of our Alumni Shaurya Chakra Awardee Assistant Commandant Bibhor Kumar Singh Visited our Campus .


During his stay at SMVDU he interacted with students on several platforms. The School  of Electronics and Communication (ECE) organized a successful meetup session at Lecture Theater of SMVDU, featuring one of its most distinguished alumni. The session provided a platform for students to interact with the alumnus, who shared his college experiences, insights on national development, and the dangers of drug use. 

The alumnus motivated students to stay away from drugs, highlighting their detrimental impact on both individual and societal well-being. He emphasized the importance of a drug-free life for national progress and social harmony. Drawing from his own life experiences, the alumnus spoke about his dedication to the Indian Army. He recounted his sacrifices and operational endeavors, inspiring the students with his commitment and bravery. The interactive session proved to be a valuable learning experience for the ECE department members, who expressed their pride in having the opportunity to engage with such an accomplished individual. Dr. Neeraj Tripathi, Dr. Vikram Singh and Mr. Ashish Suri are very instrumental in organizing the event. Dean Faculty of Engineering. Professor Kumud Ranjan Jha felicitated Bibhor Singh and wished him good luck for future. Dr. Anil Bhardwaj, HoD ECE, is thankful to the Honorable Vice Chancellor who is very supportive in this event, without whom it is not possible to  organize this enriching event with an Indian Brave Heart. Head School of ECE is also thankful to Registrar, Ajay Kumar Sharma (KAS) and all the administrative staff.
