Police arrest two drug peddlers in Baramulla; seize contraband charas-like substance
In a crackdown on drug trafficking, police in Baramulla arrested two suspected drug peddlers in the Galibal area of Chandoosa. The arrests were made during a routine check at a police checkpoint.

The arrests took place following a meticulously planned operation aimed at curbing the illegal drug trade in the area. Acting on credible intelligence, a team of officers stopped two individuals for questioning. Upon searching them, the officers found 36 grams of a substance suspected to be charas
The arrested individuals have been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Police have also initiated an investigation into their activities and possible connections.
