General Training organised for the employees of Leh and Kharu Sub Division regarding Lok Sabha Election 2024 

Leh, Apr 22, 2024: In view of the forthcoming Lok Sabha Election, the District Election Office conducted general training for the employees of 30 departments of Leh and Kharu Sub division at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra, Leh on April 20.

The training was conducted by District Level Master Trainers, Senior Lecturer, Education Department, Rigzin Namgail and Senior Librarian, Libraries and Research Department, Lobzang Tsewang.

Through the presentation the trainers gave detailed information about the duties of each of the personnel of the polling team. Additionally, they also talked about the pre poll activities, poll day activities and the procedure to be followed during the adjournment of poll. 

It was also informed by the trainers that a detailed training about the functioning  and operation of EVM and VVPAT will be given soon for the polling teams.
