Police arrest two drug peddlers in Kreeri, Baramulla; seize contraband Charas & cash
In an ongoing effort to curb drug trafficking in the area, the Kreeri Police Station in Baramulla district apprehended two suspected drug peddlers on Wednesday.
The operation resulted in the recovery of approximately 35 grams of contraband, suspected to be Charas-like substances, along with a sum of 5,000 rupees in cash from the possession of the suspects.

Acting swiftly on the information received, a team of officers conducted a raid in the vicinity of Kreeri, resulting in the apprehension of the two accused. The seized contraband, suspected to be Charas-like substances, is currently undergoing forensic analysis to confirm its composition and potency.
The arrested individuals have been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and further investigations into the matter are underway.
