This partial opening comes after days of closure due to restoration work at Mehar and Magerkote following landslides. Traffic authorities have advised commuters to exercise caution and maintain lane discipline, as overtaking could lead to congestion.
The Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road and Mughal Road remain closed. Travelers planning to use these routes are advised to postpone their journeys or check for alternative routes with the traffic department.
