Police seize 5 vehicles in crackdown on illegal mining in rural Jammu

Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) have launched a major crackdown on illegal mining in the rural areas of Jammu district. In a surprise operation conducted across various locations, authorities seized five vehicles allegedly involved in illegal mining activities.

This action comes as part of a drive to curb illegal mining and take strict action against those who exploit public resources.

The seized vehicles have been handed over to the District Mining Officer for further legal proceedings. SP Rural Jammu has affirmed the Jammu Police’s commitment to protecting public property and eradicating the menace of illegal mining in the area.
