Interaction program organised by Department of Education, GDCW Kathua

KATHUA, May 07: Department of Education, Government Degree College for Women Kathua, organized an enlightening and informative interaction program for the students of Education. Mr. Bahadur, a differently abled scholar of Central University of Haryana, was the main resource person.

He interacted with the students, discussed various issues  which the disabled students are facing. He motivated the students towards research in social science and choosing education as Major subject in college as per NEP 2020. He further said that in this NEP 2020, there is great scope for students to excel in different areas of life inspite of their abilities and disabilities. 

Principal of the college, Dr Savi Behl, appreciated the initiative taken by education department for organising such a wonderful interaction program. She congratulated the Research Scholar Bhadur for his courage and dedication. She mentioned that he is not only a role model but also an inspiration for the students. 

Dr. Rachna Devi, HOD education said that Bhadur came in her contact in 2017 when he was a college student. He is a very dedicated and sincere student, despite his seeing difficulty, he reached the heights as a Ph.D scholar of Education. He is   NET JRF. 50 students participated in this interactive session.
