Cyber Cell Reasi recovers Rs 55,000 defrauded money, urges public vigilance
In a major victory against cyber criminals, the Cyber Investigation Unit of District Police Reasi recovered Rs 55,000 that was stolen through fraudulent means.
The Cyber Cell team displayed commendable diligence during the investigation, which ultimately led to the successful retrieval of the stolen funds.

SSP Reasi Mohita Sharma IPS applauded the Cyber Cell’s efforts and reiterated the importance of public vigilance in combating cybercrime. She urged the community to stay alert and report any suspicious online activity promptly to the National Helpline number 1930.
SSP Sharma also informed citizens about various channels for reporting cybercrime. People can file complaints online at the National Cyber Crime Portal (https://cybercrime.gov.in/) and register lost or stolen mobiles at the Central Equipment Identity Register (https://www.ceir.gov.in/).
Additionally, the District Cyber Cell Reasi maintains a dedicated helpline number (7051003220) for the public to report cybercrime incidents.
