Jammu police thwart bovine smuggling attempts in Nagrota, rescue 25 animals

Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) successfully stopped two attempts to smuggle bovines in the Nagrota subdivision of Jammu district. The alert officers rescued a total of 25 animals and seized two vehicles used in the illegal transportation.

This operation is part of the ongoing “Operation Kamdhenu” initiative launched by JKP to crack down on cattle smuggling. 

The JKP has intensified its vigilance to enforce regulations and protect animals. Further investigations are underway by the JKP.
