Samba police crack theft case, 3 held; stolen property recovered

The Samba Police Station has successfully solved a theft case, apprehending three individuals involved. The case involved stolen property from a house in Sangwali Mandi, Samba.

On May 7, 2024, Kulbhushan K. Sambyal filed a complaint at the Samba Police Station regarding the theft of sanitaryware and other household items from his brother’s residence. The police registered a case (FIR No. 133/2024 u/s 457/380 IPC) and began their investigation.

The investigation led to the arrest of two accused, Aman Singh and Adhitya Singh Sambyal. Their interrogation revealed the location of the stolen items, which were subsequently recovered from a scrap shop owned by Bilal Ali in SIDCO Phase-I, Samba. Bilal Ali was also arrested for being a dishonest receiver of stolen property (u/s 411 IPC).

The Samba Police have recovered the stolen property, and the investigation into the case is ongoing.
