District Election officer Leh conducts training for Zonal /Sectoral Magistrates and Zonal/Sectoral police

Leh, May 18, 2024: The District Election Officer, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve conducted a training for the Zonal/Sectoral Magistrates and Zonal/Sectoral Police of Leh district at Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra (SSK) today on May 18.

Present during the training were Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Yetindra M Maralakar, General Observer, BH Talati, Police Observer, Rajendra Prasad and SSP, Leh, Shruti Arora.

DEO, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve gave the introductory speech and briefed the attendees about the poll day activities, the provision of intermediate strong rooms and to ensure communication is maintained at all times among the zonal heads.

CEO, UT Ladakh, Yetindra M Maralkar instructed everyone that they have to stay at the polling stations till 6:00pm.

The General Observer and Police Observer talked about ensuring that all the ECI rules are followed and to maintain contact with each other at all times.

Additionally, Deputy General Manager, Bharat Electronics Limited gave instructions about the EVM machines.
