District Level Model Making Competition under AGHAAZ initiative held at BHSS Khalmulla

GANDERBAL, MAY 22: IIT Kanpur today organized a District Level Model Making competition in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha Ganderbal under the AGHAAZ initiative at Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Kalamulla.


The event, organized under the overall supervision of Chief Education Officer Ganderbal, Surjeet Kumar Sharma provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and innovations in the field of space science.


The function benefited greatly from the coordination efforts of Assistant Project Engineer and mentor from IIT Kanpur, Aamir Sultan, who played a key role in organizing it.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across the district, who presented a variety of models demonstrating their understanding and creativity in space science.


The event is part of the broader AAGHAZ initiative, which is a collaborative effort between SAMAGRA and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur. This initiative aims to enhance educational opportunities and foster scientific temperament among students.


The presence of educators, mentor teachers, encouraged students to pursue their interests in science and technology. The models were evaluated by Jury Members from DIET Ganderbal and Lecturer BHSS Ganderbal based on innovation, practicality, and presentation, with the best projects receiving accolades and recognition.
The Principal BHSS Khalmulla, Gh Rasool Dar commended the students for their impressive efforts and emphasized the importance of such initiatives in nurturing the scientific talents of young minds. This event marks a significant step towards promoting educational excellence and scientific inquiry in the district.
