Baramulla Police cracks theft case: One arrested, stolen goods recovered
Baramulla police have successfully resolved a theft case, apprehending one suspect and recovering stolen property.
The incident occurred on the intervening night of April 22nd, when a resident of Garkote Uri, Shakeel Ahmad Parray, reported a break-in at his residence and stole cash, and valuable items including gold jewelry.

Following the complaint, a case was registered at the Uri Police Station, and an investigation was promptly launched. Police officials questioned several suspects, and through their inquiries, one individual, Imran Ahmad Parray, a resident of Balkote Uri, emerged as a lead.
During questioning, Imran Ahmad Parray reportedly confessed to his involvement in the theft. Based on his confession, the police recovered the stolen items, which included seven gold rings, a gold earring, a mobile phone, and Rs. 20,000 in cash.
Imran Ahmad Parray was subsequently arrested, and further investigation is underway.
