Police book drug smuggler under NDPS Act in Baramulla
In a fight against drug trafficking, the Baramulla Police have apprehended a notorious drug smuggler identified as Ehtisham ud Din Khan, son of Late Bahsir Ahmad, a resident of Gousia Mohalla, Ladoora Watergam.
The arrest was made under the Prevention of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT NDPS) Act.

Ehtisham ud Din Khan, known for his involvement in illegal drug trade activities, was taken into custody following intensive surveillance and investigation by law enforcement authorities.
Following his arrest, Khan has been lodged in the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal in Jammu. This action by Baramulla Police reflects their commitment to tackling the drug menace in the region and protecting communities from the harmful impacts of drug abuse.
