Civil Society Gool, Sub Divisional Administration Host Mega Cultural Event at Ramakunda

RAMBAN, JUNE 02: Civil Society Gool, in collaboration with the Sub Divisional Administration, organized a mega event at Ramakunda, celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage. The event featured an exciting horse race and a series of cultural programs that drew significant participation from the local community.


The event was graced by the presence of several dignitaries, including SDM Gool Pawan Kumar Goswami: Tehsildar, Harjeet Singh; SDPO, Nihar Ranjan; SHO Sameer Ahmed; President Civil Society Gool, Shames Din Wani Range Officer Forest and various other officers and prominent citizens. Their presence underscored the importance of community engagement and cultural preservation & promotion in the region.


The horse race, the major highlight of the event, witnessed spirited competition among local riders. The winners were celebrated for their skill and dedication. The first position was won by Afroz Ahmed, a resident of Malla Mohore, while the second and third positions were secured by Nazir Ahmed Bakralwal and Mohammad Iqbal, both residents of Mohore.


The winners were awarded their prizes in a ceremony attended by officials and community members, adding to the festive atmosphere of the day.
The event marked a significant step towards promoting tourism, cultural activities, and fostering community spirit in Gool.
