DC Budgam inspects upgraded NTPHC, Dalwan village in Charar-i-Sharief
Takes stock of basic amenities at Sikh Colony, Rangreth
BUDGAM, JUNE 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today inspected the progress of works at the upgraded New Type Primary Health Centre (NTPHC) at the remote village Dalwan in Charar-i-Sharief.
The renovation and upgradation of the NTPHC building was done under District Capex Budget Budgam.
The DC inspected ward room, immunization Centre and other facilities at the health Centre.
Stressing on facilitating best possible healthcare facilities to the general public, the DC assessed availability of medicine and daily patient care.
While interacting with the locals at the NTPHC, the DC urged them to make best use of the health Centre and avail all the health facilities.
Later, the DC also visited the Sikh Colony at Rangreth to take first-hand appraisal of availability of basic amenities to locals.
He interacted with local residents including members from Sikh Community who raised their demands with the DC.
During visit, the DC inspected functioning of drainage and treatment of discharged water from the nearby SIDCO industrial area.
He asserted on carrying out cleanliness and removing the bottlenecks for robust functioning of the drainage system.
The DC also instructed concerned to explore possibilities for construction of separate drainage system and connecting flow of water to the main drainage of ERA.
He also directed concerned to submit a report on same within a week’s time.
The DC also reviewed the status of construction of playfield and work on the STP in the area.
CPO, GM DIC Budgam, officers from SIDCO, UEED and other departments were also present on the occasion.
