ADC Srinagar finalizes arrangements for celebration of Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Hargobind Sahib

SRINAGAR, JUNE 21: The Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Syed Ahmad Kataria today chaired a meeting to finalize the arrangements for the celebration of Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Hargbind Sahib- the sixth Sikh Guru.

The birth anniversary of Guru Hargobind ji will be celebrated at Gurudwara Chattipadshi Rainawari with religious fervor.

The meeting was attended by the senior officers of PHE, PDD, SMC, Traffic besides President Gurudwara Prabandak Committee, Jaspal Singh.

On the occasion, ADC directed officers to ensure foolproof arrangements by their respective departments to facilitate the devotees of Sikh community to celebrate religious festival with in full color.

He instructed for ensuring hassle-free traffic and parking arrangements and uninterrupted supply of power and water and directed the concerned departments to ensure sanitation.

The ADC also instructed concerned officer make adequate number of buses available so that devotees doesn’t face inconvenience while traveling to Chatti Padshahi.
