Sidhu Moosewala’s bullet-ridden Thar Returned To His Family; Father Gets Emotional Seeing Gunshots

Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered on 29th May 2022. The Mahindra Thar on which he took his last ride in was returned to his father, Balkaur Singh.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead near his village Mansa while he was driving his Thar. A few men were following him and fatally shot and killed him. Soon after Moose Wala’s death, his Thar was kept under custody for the murder investigation, and finally, after seven months, it was returned to his father.

Sidhu Moosewala’s father could not stop his emotions when he saw his son’s Thar bearing gunshots. Tears started rolling out his eyes after receiving the Thar from the authorities, which had been held during a murder investigation.

Sidhu Moosewala’s car has received so much attention because the title of his last song was “The Last Ride”. Fans have pointed out that it contains similarities with the circumstances of his death. The song was touted to be a tribute to rapper Tupac Shakur, who was also shot dead in his car at the age of 25 in 1996.

He was popular for popularising rap in rural areas. His death was a great shock and sparked anger among his fans.

Moose Wala was born in June 1993. He earned fame with the track ‘So High’ in 2018 and continued his success with tracks like Issa Jatt, Selfmade, Famous, and Warning Shots. He entered politics in 2021 and joined the Congress, contesting the 2022 Punjab Assembly polls from the Mansa assembly seat but was defeated by AAP’s Dr Vijay Singla.
