PDP’s migrant wing asks govt to ensure adequate facilities on Maha Shivratri

JAMMU, February 14: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Migrant Wing tofay urged upon the Lt. Governor administration to ensure that adequate facilities for Kashmiri Pandits are put in place for the celebration of Maha Shivratri.

To take a review of the arrangements that are needed to be made a head of the religious festival, a detailed meeting of PDP’s Migrant Wing was held which was attended by President Sh. Sunil Bhat, Anu Ji, P N Zutshi, C L Dhar, Vimal Wantoo, Bansi Lal Koul, Suraj Tak, Chaman Lal Bhat, Vijay Pandit, M K Dhar and several others.

The leaders present in the meeting pitched that the rates of the essential commodities needed to be put under control in migrant camp and non camp. The leaders also urged for the cash assistance be given to migrants in advance also demanded adequate supply of essential commodities besides uninterrupted supply of water and electricity.

The leaders also requested to the Lt. Governor administration to the greave situation which has occurred due to stoppage of salary of the PM package employees.  The administration already has assured that salary will be release before Maha Shivratri. So we request to Lt. Governor administration to release pending salary of all the employees KPs and Non KPs those who are posted in Kashmir before Maha Shivratri Festival.
