Army Camp to stay in Doda’s Goha amid local concerns over terror activities: Dr Jitendra Singh
Jammu July 27: Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh addressed the issue of the local residents of the Marmat area in district Doda over apprehensions about the potential re-allocation of the Army Camp from Goha. Given the recent increase in terror activities in the region, the prospect of moving the camp had caused significant unease among the local population. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh communicated the issue with Chief of the Army Staff, Gen. Upendra Dwivedi. Dr Singh thanked Gen. Dwivedi and the Army authorities for deciding to retain the Army Camp at Goha in view of the current operational dynamics.
