Road crash in UP leaves three dead

Bareilly (UP), Jul 31 (PTI) Three men returning from a birthday party were killed when their car collided with a truck here, police said on Wednesday.

They said Sonu (22), Kamran (23), Tajim (22) and Junaid (22) were returning from Bareilly city on Tuesday night when the accident took place.

Passersby informed the police which rushed the four to a nearby hospital, where three persons were declared dead while another person was seriously injured.

Traffic on the Rampur road was disrupted for about an hour after the accident.

The truck driver fled from the spot, police said.
