ACB organises Vigilance Awareness programme at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, AUGUST 09: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Ganderbal in collaboration with District Administration Ganderbal organised a Vigilance Awareness Programme at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.


The event witnessed participation from various stakeholders, including all District Officers and officials of various departments.


The Vigilance Awareness Week is being celebrated from 05 August to 10 August 2024 with the theme ‘Culture of integrity for Nation’s Prosperity,’ across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and aims to promote integrity and transparency in governance and sensitization of officers/officials and other stakeholders.


On the occasion, Officers/officials from ACB Ganderbal deliberated on various initiatives taken by the Government to bring transparency, accountability and efficiency in good governance.


During the program, the significance of vigilance in public administration and impact of corruption on society and the economy, as well as the legal framework and mechanisms in place to address corruption was also highlighted.


The participants were made aware about the procedure/Acts/rules in place in UT of J&K.


An interactive session was also organized in which participants engaged in discussions and shared best practices for promoting ethical behavior in various sectors.
