GDC Kastigarh organises cleanliness drive under Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign

DODA, AUGUST 10: In alignment with the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwada Campaign, the Government Degree College Kastigarh organized a cleanliness drive aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among students and staff.


Principal of the college, Prof. Koshal Kumar Mangotra emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment and encouraged the “Each One Plant One” initiative to foster a greener community.


The event featured insightful lectures on environmental sustainability delivered by Dr. Sumit Kotwal, Assistant Professor of Environmental Science, and Dr. Anupam Lata. Their talks highlighted the crucial role of individual and collective efforts in preserving the local ecosystem, urging students and faculty to take active steps in contributing to environmental conservation.


The students participated enthusiastically in the cleanliness drive. Their dedication and hard work set a positive example for the entire college community.
