Ramban launches aggressive Anti-Drug Awareness campaign

RAMBAN, AUGUST 13: In a decisive move against the escalating menace of drug abuse, the Social Welfare Department of Ramban orchestrated an extensive awareness campaign under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.


The initiative, themed “Viksit Bharat ka Mantra, Bharat Ho Nashe Se Swatantra,” was conducted under the vigilant oversight of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, and was chaired by ADDC Ramban Roshan Lal.


The event was moderated by DSWO Ramban, Rahul Gupta, and witnessed widespread participation from various district officials and the youth.


The campaign was marked by a formidable show of solidarity as stakeholders collectively pledged to combat the scourge of drugs. A significant highlight of the event was the signature campaign, which saw enthusiastic participation from hundreds of youths, signaling a strong district-wide commitment to eradicating drug abuse.


In addition to the pledge and signature drive, the event drew the presence of top district officials, including ADC Ramban Sh. Varunjeeet Charak, ACR Ramban, ACD Ramban, ACP Ramban, District Information Officer, and District Informatics Officer, among others, underscoring the administration’s united front against this societal blight.


Culminating in a rally, the campaign served as a powerful reminder of the district’s resolve to tackle drug addiction head-on, with an aim to protect future generations and foster a drug-free society.
