BJYM burnt effigy of Dr Farooq Abdullah for his derogatory remarks against the Indian Army

 Naya Jammu Kashmir will not tolerate Dr Farooq’s infamous stance of questioning Valour and bravery of Indian Army: Arun Prabhat

Jammu Aug 13: BJYM, J&K led by its President Arun Prabhat held a strong protest against Farooq Abdullah, senior NC leader & former Chief Minister for his derogatory remarks about the Indian Army.

BJYM workers under the leadership of their state President also set afire the effigy of the NC leader at the Library Chowk, Kachi Chawni.

Scores of BJYM workers took part in the protest and raised slogans against Farooq Abdullah and the National Conference.

Taking strong exception to the statement of Dr Farooq, Arun Prabhat said that the former Chief Minister has a track record of patronizing the anti-India elements and demoralizing the Indian Armed forces by raising vague questions about their valour and integrity. He said that the venom spitted by all the Abdullahs had earlier pushed Jammu & Kashmir into a state of turmoil and arrested development for 70 years. He asked the senior NC leader to direct his energies to build and not to destroy Jammu &Kashmir.

Terming him as the habitual offender, Arun Prabhat said that the Naya Jammu Kashmir will not tolerate Dr Farooq’s infamous stance of questioning the Valour and the bravery of the Indian Army. He added that the patriotic youth of Jammu Kashmir will not endure such derogatory remarks against the Indian Army.

Arun Prabhat said that Abdullah should publicly apologize for his remarks, which insulted both the army and the sentiments of the people of India.

Other BJYM workers who were present in the protest were Abhishek Slathia, Ishant Mahajan, Rajat Singh Manhas, Adv Kanav Sharma, Luv Sharma and Sagar Singh Kotwal, Abhiudit Koushal, Inderjeet Shan and Rahul Pradhan.
