Dharmarth Trust mourns demise of Maj Gen RS Jamwal
JAMMU: The J&K Dharmarth Trust today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Maj Gen RS Jamwal, who served as the President of the Trust from 2012 to 2016.
Brig RS Langeh (Retd), the current President of the Dharmarth Trust, conveyed heartfelt condolences on behalf of Hon’ble Chairman Trustee and other Trustees.
In his statement, he said, “Maj Gen RS Jamwal’s tenure as the President of the Dharmarth Trust was marked by his unwavering dedication and commitment to the preservation and promotion of Hinduism and the management of our revered temples and shrines in Jammu and Kashmir. His contributions have left an indelible mark on our institution, and he will be remembered for his exemplary leadership and service.”
He further added, “Maj Gen Jamwal was a guiding force who led with compassion and a vision for the Trust’s development. His efforts in strengthening the Trust and fostering a sense of unity among the employees and the community were truly commendable. His passing away is a great loss, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.”
The Trust members, staff, and employees joined together in mourning the loss of Maj Gen RS Jamwal, recalling his significant contributions and the legacy he leaves behind. A special prayer meeting will be held in his honor at the Trust’s central office.
