Displaced Families Got Justice in Modi Govt: Vibodh
Congress betrayed J&K, ditched people: Vibodh Gupta
JAMMU August 17: Modi government gave justice to Displaced families after decades of injustice by NC, Congress, and PDP-led governments, by giving them land ownership rights on the evacuee/custodian properties, said Vibodh Gupta, General Secretary, J&K BJP while addressing a Press Conference at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. He was accompanied by BJP senior leaders Adv Dev Raj Sharma, and Pt. Ashok Khajuria.
Vibodh Gupta, while addressing the media persons, lauded the public-centric decisions of LG Manoj Sinha. He said that the BJP expresses its heartiest gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and LG Manoj Sinha on behalf of displaced persons. He said that the displaced population of 30,000 families in 1947, 65, and 71, which was settled on the evacuee/custodian properties has been granted land ownership rights.
“Those 30,000 displaced families have now grown to 1,50,000 families over time. They all have been benefitted by this decision. Earlier also, the LG had given rights to the WPRs who were settled on the state land. These decisions attest to the ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ policy of BJP”, said Vibodh Gupta.
Gupta ferociously attacked NC, Congress, and PDP for ditching Jammu & Kashmir and doing injustice to its people. They have betrayed every section of J&K of their rights and forced them to wander from door-to-door in misfortune. Today, these communities have got rights under the Modi government and the LG administration, he said.
“The communities like WPRs, Displaced, Valmikis, Pahadis, Gujjar-Bakerwal, women, and others were prevented from getting their basic rights like, voting rights, education rights or government jobs by the NC, Congress, and PDP governments. Valmiki community could do only the job of Safai Karamchari irrespective of their education. These parties banned inter-district recruitment, political reservation, forest rights, etc. All these communities got their rights after 2019 under the Modi government.
“BJP has carried the struggle of these communities right through the beginning and will make sure that these communities get rights in the shortest time possible. He said that the BJP is committed to giving the pending rights and safeguarding all the rights of these communities after the formation of government in Jammu & Kashmir.
