Mega voter awareness programme held at GHSS Garhi

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 23: In preparation for the upcoming General Assembly Elections 2024, the SVEEP Team Udhampur organized a Voter Awareness Programme here today at Government Higher Secondary School Garhi.

Principal of the school, Ajay Bisht staff members, BLOs, students and first time voters also participated.

The event was conducted under the supervision of District Election Officer Udhampur, Saloni Rai. The programme featured a cultural segment where school children creatively emphasized the importance of voter awareness through various performances.

Dr. Preeti Sharma, SVEEP Nodal Officer, highlighted the crucial role of youth in the democratic process. She urged the youth and other citizens to ensure 100% voter turnout, stressing their essential contribution to the region’s development.
