UP CM attends mega employment and loan fair in Kanpur; praises double engine govt formula

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), August 29 (ANI): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a mega employment and loan fair in Kanpur on Thursday. Appointment letters to the youth, loan distribution to the beneficiaries of various public welfare schemes and the foundation stone laying programs of development projects were facilitated by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.

During the speech, the CM highlighted the various schemes by the state government, gave job assurances to the people and distributed loans to various people at the fair. “To give wings to the dreams of the youth, in collaboration with 50 companies, a massive employment program for the youths has been arranged. We have also set up a loan mela to give to various beneficiaries. Under the Yuva Shashaktikarn Yojana, we have also given tablets and smartphones to the youth”, said the UP CM.

He further added, “On this occasion, I also thank the people who have acquired a loan to help out the youth of the state”.

In his speech, he also praised the “double engine” formula of the government. The CM said, “You have seen the double-engine government in Uttar Pradesh. The government has given a model for security, good governance and development of the state. Today the double-engine government is doing phenomenal work in the state.

You have seen Uttar Pradesh before 2017 too, before the state was known for all sorts of things, hooliganism, riots before every festival, all of that had become the identity of the state”.

Earlier on August 28, the UP CM had also visited the Aligarh district, where appointment letters were given to more than 5,000 youths, and loans of more than Rs35 crore were given to entrepreneurs. Additionally, tablets and smartphones were given to more than 1,500 students in the district.

“On this occasion, giving further impetus to the development journey of the holy land of Khereshwar Mahadev, Aligarh district, 305 public welfare projects worth Rs705 crores were also inaugurated. Hearty congratulations to the people of the district!”, said the CM in a post on X.
