MP CM Mohan Yadav calls on Union Ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda in New Delhi

New Delhi [India], August 30 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president JP Nadda at their residences in New Delhi on Friday.

“Today, I paid a courtesy visit to BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda ji at his residence in New Delhi,” CM Yadav posted on X.

“Today, I made a courtesy visit to Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah ji at his residence in New Delhi,” the CM also posted on X.

Earlier in the day, CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated a four-day ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav’ at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in New Delhi and attended an exhibition on the occasion.

The ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav,’ organised from August 30 to September 2, 2024, showcases the state’s rich art, tourism, cultural heritage, public welfare schemes, and achievements.

“Today, I inaugurated the ‘Madhya Pradesh Utsav’ at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan, Delhi, by lighting a lamp. I was pleased to see a glimpse of folk colours in the exhibition showcasing the art, culture, cuisine, and archaeology of Madhya Pradesh,” the CM wrote on X.

“Madhya Pradesh is rich in art, culture, cuisine, lifestyle, tourism, historical heritage, and archaeology. This four-day festival has been organised to introduce all these aspects of the state to the country’s capital,” CM Yadav said.

Praising the ‘Heritage of Madhya Pradesh’ exhibition organised by the Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Archaeology, Archives, and Museums, the CM said, “The Directorate is undertaking the challenging work of restoring old, destroyed temples and shrines. Through this exhibition, efforts have been made to honour the paintings of Gond artists and showcase the ten-thousand-year-old rock paintings of Bhimbetka.”

The Chief Minister also expressed hope that visitors to the festival would enjoy the dishes made from Sri Anna (millets).
