District SVEEP Team organizes activities across Ramban, main event held at Sanasar

RAMBAN, SEPTEMBER 10: The District Administration Ramban, under the guidance of District Election Officer Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a series of activities today across the district as part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiative. The primary event was held at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Sanasar, in Assembly Constituency-54 Ramban.


The SVEEP team, led by Nodal Officer Kewal Krishen Sharma and Nodal Officer for Women Awareness Shalini Chandel, focused on educating students about the importance of voting and ensuring 100% participation of eligible family members and neighbors in the upcoming September 18 elections. Students were also introduced to the c-Vigil mobile application, which enables citizens to report electoral malpractices.


The program concluded with a rally through the village, spreading awareness about voting. The District SVEEP Team, along with key officials, extended their awareness campaign to surrounding areas, involving a large number of voters, teachers, BLOs, and students. These efforts were supervised by District Nodal Officer SVEEP, Bikram Singh.
