Block Diwas: Public Outreach Camps held at Billawar, Basohli, Hiranagar Sub Divisions

KATHUA, February 22: The weekly Block Diwas proceedings were held today across Kathua where problems and issues concerning the people were listened to by Officers of different departments in presence of PRIs.

At Billawar, Public Grievances Redressal Camp was held at PWD Rest house Billawar where ADC, Vinay Khosla presided over the proceedings.

BDC Chairman Billawar, Ashok Kumar Sharma, BDO, PRI members, Officers and a large number of people were present.

The people of urban and rural areas of block Billawar apprised ADC about the issues faced by the inhabitants which were mostly related to the Drinking Water supply, Road connectivity, Power supply, Shortage of staff etc.

Similarly, Public Outreach Camp, under Block Diwas, was held at Hatt in block Bhoond of Basholi Subdivision. The proceedings of which were presided over by ADC Ajeet Singh. CEO, BBDA, BDO Bhoond, Sarpanch Panchayat Hatt and other tehsil level officers and locals were present in large numbers.

On spot directions were passed to the officers concerned to look into the issues on priority.

Likewise, Block Diwas proceedings were held at NTPHC Chakra in border Block Marheen where DDC Member, SDM Hirangar Rakesh Kumar listened to the grievances of the people.

CPO Kathua, ACD Kathua Kishore Singh Katoch, BDO and other tehsil and sectoral level officers were present.
