Rattan Lal Gupta accuses BJP’s Road map  of polarizing J&K to weaken secular forces

Says NC played vital role over last decade in keeping secularism alive in J&K 

JAMMU September 12th : Adv Rattan Lal Gupta, Provincial President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Road map (BJP) for allegedly aligning with anti-social elements to polarize the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Mr Gupta said in a joining function of some social activists of District Rajouri.He accused the BJP of using divisive tactics to destabilize secular forces, which, according to him, is neither in the interest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir nor in favor of the country’s unity.

Rattan Lal Gupta further emphasized that the National Conference has played a vital role over the last decade in keeping secularism alive in Jammu and Kashmir and has continuously worked towards maintaining peace, harmony, and communal brotherhood across the region.

The senior NC leader expressed confidence that if the National Conference is voted to power in the upcoming elections, the Party will prioritize eliminating terrorism. He also assured that the National Conference is committed to addressing the genuine concerns of the people and bringing about much-needed economic and social reforms. 

Outlining some of the party’s key initiatives, Rattan Lal Gupta mentioned that the NC is committed to raise old age pensions from Rs 1000 to Rs 3000,increase financial assistance for girls marriages to Rs 75,000 from 50,000 of EWS, provide 12 LPG cylinders per family per year of EWS, and Provide One lakh jobs for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, Provide 5000 Pm to elderly Female member of each household of EWS, Provide free 200 units power, free drinking water, Provide free travel of females in govt transport, legalize MSP for farmers and Provide 10 Kg rise per person per month free of cost. He emphasized that the party will continue to focus on improving the quality of life for every citizen and introduce more welfare schemes aimed at uplifting the marginalized sections of society.

The Provincial President appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to vote for the National Conference in the upcoming elections, assuring them that only the National Conference has the vision and resolve to restore peace and prosperity in the region. He urged the public to support the party’s agenda of safeguarding the future of Jammu and Kashmir and ensuring that the state is steered towards development and stability under a secular framework.
