Copper futures gain on higher spot demand

New Delhi, Sep 20 (PTI) Copper prices on Friday rose 0.01 per cent to Rs 827.50 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher 5 paise or 0.01 per cent at Rs 827.50 per kg in a business turnover of 5,365 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
