DC Leh Santosh Sukhdeve reviews utilization of DMFT funds

Leh, September 20: The Deputy Commissioner Leh and Chairperson District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting to review the utilization of the DMFT funds which is the 10 percent of revenue realized from the minor mineral extractions in the district.

During the meeting, the DC reviewed all the pending and completed cases with the members of the District Mineral Foundation Trust and approved the pending cases. New proposals such as book requirements for schools and local toilet requirement for school hostel at Partapur from Chief Education Officer, furniture requirement from Helpage India (Leh), computer requirement from Imamia Model School were also reviewed during the meeting. The DC instructed the members to assess their requirements to process the proposal further.

The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Leh, Deputy Director District Motor Garages Leh, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Education Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, District Mineral Officer and other members of DMFT.
