JAMMU, February 22- All parties United Morcha has lashed out at the UT administration and the centre government for imposing property tax in Jammu and Kashmir besides taking  other anti people decisions in the absence of an elected government. 

An emergent  meeting of APUM ‘was held today in Jammu in which serious concern  was shown  over  the anti people orders being issued,on daily basis  leading to great sufferings to the residents of Jammu Kashmir .

People are being harassed by   bureaucratic regime by series of orders on daily basis by LG adminstration on  one context or the other , in the absence of elected government, the meeting viewed. 

  Strongly opposing the orders of property taxes on already suffering and economically distressed people of J &K , the meeting expressed great concern over the  Bulldozer baba becoming order of the day to harass the poor and common man. 

     The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdul Rehman exMP, Ravinder Sharma,INC  Rattan Lal Gupta, NC Varinder Singh Sonu, PDP Narinder Singh Khalsa,AkaliDal(A) Narinder Khajuria, IDP Sahid Saleem Mir,Peace Activist Com.SukhdevSingh,BYC and I D Khajuria, IDP and Convenor of APUM. 

demanded restoration of The meet threadbate discussed the current situation  in  Jammu Kashmir and reiterated the demand for restoration of Statehood , with dignity and honour and democratic rights by holding assembly elections at the earliest.

They also demanded to stop the policies of land eviction and property taxes. The participants asked  the LG adminstration to immediately withdraw such notifications. In the meeting it is also observed that electricity bills are not correct and heavy charges have been made on people.All of them were unanimous that unity of people can only defeat the present policies of ruling party of dividing people on communal lines for election gains.

APUM also demanded immediate revocation the infamous  orders of unceremonious removal of Lambadars and Chowkidars.The leaders demanded immediate of resolution of problems of PM package employees ,Jammu based employees of reserved categories, Daily wagers of all departments , Anganwari workers,asha workers,Mid day meal workers of schools,NHM employees and problems of kissan community.

APUM leaders also condemned the discriminatory orders of JK adminstration against the employees by asking them that they should not raise their voice against the wrong government policies and anti employees orders. 

The meeting also lauded the Bharat Jodo Yatra joined by all right thinking and democratic forces against the politics of hatred and division besides sufferings of people on various counts. 

The meeting appealed people to remain United at all costs to fight against anti poor, anti people and anti democratic actions of the government. 

The meet decided to unitedly oppose the anti people decisions of the UT adm and centre government and intensify movement for restoration of statehood & democracy in J&K.
