Second inspection of expenditure registers conducted for Udhampur Assembly Segments

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 24: The second inspection of expenditure registers for all four Assembly segments of Udhampur District was conducted today under the chairmanship of Expenditure Observer Vivekananda Reddy here in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex.


The meeting was convened to ensure compliance with the financial regulations mandated by the Election Commission of India for election expenditures.
Earlier, Nodal Officer for Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) Bikram Dutt Sharma along with District Treasury Officer Dheeraj Jandial, briefed the Expenditure Observer on the financial overview of the General Assembly Elections 2024.


The meeting held in-depth discussions regarding the submission and scrutiny of expenditure accounts by the contesting candidates. Authorities underscored the importance of strict adherence to prescribed financial limits and the timely submission of reports. The candidates were reminded of their responsibility to ensure transparency and accountability in all election-related expenses.
