EJM College Leh organizes series of events to celebrate ‘Swachchata hi Seva’

Leh, September 28, 2024: NSS Unit of EJM college Leh organized a series of events at the college multipurpose hall to celebrate ‘Swachchata hi Seva’ campaign 2024.

The programmed started with a Quiz competition held on the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata’. 4 teams of 16 girl students participated in the event.

In another programme, a photography competition was held on the theme of ‘Cleanliness’ wherein students displayed photos taken by them on their mobile phones within the campus. A dance competition was also held in which several student groups participated. Posters and slogans prepared by students on 17^th and 18^th September 2024 were displayed in the hall and judges for the events went through them and picked the winning entries.

The chief guest for the event was Principal Dr. Sameena Iqbal. All the winners and participants were awarded certificates and prizes by the chief guest. Certificates and prizes were also awarded to the students who participated in the poem recitation competition held by Hindi Department on 14^th September, 2024.

Dr. Stanzin Namgyal, Assistant Prof Sabina Bashir, Dr. Tashi Lundup and Assistant Prof Sabah Sharif were the judges for the events. Assistant Prof Jigmet Sangyas (PO NSS) and Dr. Tsering Chorol (PO NSS) conducted the events along with Assistant Prof Jigmet Wangmo, member NSS unit.
